The island of Odderøya !

Some days ago, I wen to the island of Odderøya, which is very close to the center of the Kristiansand's city to walk. Therefore, it is very easy to reach. On this island, there are some activities and acttractions for the tourists such as Christiansholm Fortress or old remparts; the island has a very interresting military history.

All the island is a large mountain so all the walk is a mounted, it was difficult in some places because of the frozen snow! But nevertheless, it was very refreshing.

The landscape are wonderful, it is a mixture with snow, sun, sea and the forest; unfortunately I didn't see any animals but I guess there are in summer!

Kristiansand -> Fjords -> Stavanger

For this article, I will write about some Norway's landscapes, most of all the famous fjords.

First of all the fjord is a valley, which was invaded by the sea since the retirement of the ice. This is a typical landscape of Norway; there are a lot of fjords inside the country because of the presence of all the montains! 

With a friend, we decided to go to Stavanger by car. We choose this town because it is a well-known one in Norway; this little trip takes 3 hours and a half; therefore during this road there were fjords all around the itinerary. It was very beautiful and refreshing compared to the city. These landscapes well represent the cliché of the nothern countries that we have in general, indeed we always think that these countries have large green expanses and lots of valleys; in a word: beautiful flora and fauna!

Concerning the town Stavanger, this is a very picturesque town with typical architecture, stone walls, a large port, small lakes, lot of sculptures, etc.
